Are you ready for a challenge?

We don’t normally talk about our offerings on the blog, but we’ve had so many questions about the Career Rebound Challenge starting on Monday that we wanted to use this week’s post to answer those questions.

Q: Who’s it for?

A:

-       Anyone who has been laid off, downsized, furloughed, or fired – or fears they might be.

-       Anyone who likes their current role but wants to be ready if they spot a better opportunity.

-       Anyone who feels held back because they know they need to update their résumé/LinkedIn/cover letter but doesn’t know where to start.

-       Anyone looking for a way to make the most of this challenging time — it's tough out there for job seekers, so let’s make the most of this time!

Q: What is it?

A: Everyone who signs up will get one email Monday through Friday with a video explaining the day's mission. Each day will cover an element of your career rebound and clear, direct advice on exactly what to do to complete the task.  For example, on the day focused on LinkedIn, you’ll get a video with tips and an assignment to make specific revisions to your profile.

Q: How long will it take each day?

A: Each day’s video will be 10-20 minutes long, and the tasks themselves will vary but will usually be about 30-60 minutes each day.   We know you don’t have all day.  (If you did, you’d have done this already.  Right?)  The only exception to those time estimates is Thursday, when you can watch a free one hour webinar that will go more in depth on creating a career rebound.

Q: Wait – can I just sign up for the webinar?

A: You can, but then you won’t get the benefits of the rest of the Career Rebound Challenge.  To register for the webinar, click here.

Q: What if I have a busy week and can’t keep up?

A: We’ve all been there.  You will have access to the videos all week if you need to catch up, and can access the webinar replay for a few days afterwards.  And even if you can only do 40% (or two days) of the missions, you’ll be better off than if you do 0%.

Plus, a special bonus we’ll be offering for challenge members is a free Get Stuff Done day – a 3.5 hour time block for you to do focused, deep work on the important -- not the urgent.  We’ll provide our secret sauce of prompts, structure, accountability, and fun (seriously!). You show up with your to do list and, if you’re anything like the folks who have participated in the past, you leave having gotten "SO much more" done than you would have otherwise.  And, we’ll be available to pop into a breakout room with you and answer your individual questions.

Q: What if I have questions about the assignments?

A: If you have any questions, you’ll get answers on a free Facebook Live at lunchtime each day in the Challenge Facebook group.

Q: What if I don’t do Facebook?

A: That’s fine – receiving the day’s email and being able to follow through on the assignment just requires an email account.  But if you do join the Facebook group, you’ll be able to watch the daily Facebook Lives, and earn points toward great prizes.

Q: Wait, there are prizes?
A: Yes.  Your participation will earn entries into a drawing to win LinkedIn profile reviews, a membership in our brand new Career Rebound Bootcamp www.careerreboundbootcamp.com, our favorite career books and resources, and so much more.

Q: Is it really free?

A: Yes, it’s really free.

Q: How do I sign up?

A: I thought you’d never ask.  Just visit www.careerreboundbootcamp.com/challenge to sign up today.  Then join us in the private Challenge Facebook group .
